COMPLICATED FEELINGS OF ATTRACTION

Feelings don’t care what your marital, social or religious status is. You can be married and still develop feelings.
The real work is in how the feelings are handled. What’s worse is how it feels like you’ve got to do it alone because there’s no one around that would understand….because everyone is out to judge. Sometimes, the only person you can discuss it with is the person for whom you have the feelings. What then?
It gets more complex when these feelings have a sxxual side, worse when you’ve done and even crazier when it’s much better than what you experience at home. The fear, embarrassment and maybe even shame of admitting even to self your emotions and body stir and move for someone you cannot declare. Yet, the feelings hold strong enough to make you question and even discard all previously held values. Nobody understands, it seems.
The thought of home should help you back but for many, unfortunately, the very bad situation at home helped create said feelings in the first place. Taking the journey back can be daunting then as it would be asking you to quash feelings for someone you are excited about and who may also be excited about you, for someone who doesn’t even seem to be bothered.
Distance can help but you need to know how to use it because distance can also make it worse, making you realise how much you miss the other and create the illusion you cannot do without the attention and care. In the end, we all just want to be cared for.
For many of us, the first question is “how do I resolve the feelings and deep attraction?”
Yet, the real first question is “do I really want to resolve the feelings and deep attraction?”
There’s a journey out of it but it is a journey that needs you to be able to answer truthfully, the question above.
Do you really want to resolve your feelings and deep attraction?
If you are able to answer that honestly, send me a message inbox to get started on moving forward.
